Inspirations

Obviously we are drawing on tabletop fantasy roleplaying tropes, especially from D&D and the Greyhawk setting but here are some examples of the kind of feel we are going for:

TTRPG Games: Ars Magicka, Dungeons and Dragons (esp Planescape), Fantasy Hero, RuneQuest.

CRPG Games: Baldur's Gate, Dragon Age, Elder Scrolls (esp Skyrim), Neverwinter Nights, The Witcher, World of Warcraft.

Movies: Conan (Barbarian and Destroyer), Dragonslayer, Hawk the Slayer, Ladyhawk, Lord of the Rings, Sword and the Sorcerer.

Books: Nine Princes in Amber, the Vlad Taltos series, the Fafhrd and Gray Mouser series, the Thieves World books, the Rat Queen comics.
